At thirty-one years old, after a brutally cold winter, we decided that as much as we loved New York City that we did not want to spend another winter there so we headed west to Las Vegas.
Over the next eight years I discovered three new careers. My first new career was as an undercover investigator for a year and a half. My life as a poker dealer followed. I pursued that career for ten years before moving on. A short stint as an acting teacher gave me a chance to share some of my knowledge with those just trying to start out in show business.
To learn about some of these careers in more detail, read the individual stories that I have written.
