Saipan Pool Party!

About a week ago I saw an ad in the newspaper for a free pool party at the Palms Resort.  I asked three friends if they wanted to join Tom and I for the day.  I knew that the place was going to be packed since all of the resorts charge $10 or more to use their pools for the day so we headed out early to get five chairs together.

Palm's Resort

The weather was beautiful, as you can see from the pictures.  They had live music playing all day so the atmosphere was lively.  Food was also available for purchase.

Palm's Pool Party

There were a lot of families with small children so they had ice cream eating contests, hot dog eating contests as well as drawings.

We were there from 10 AM until 5 PM when the party ended.  We headed out to dinner at the only bar/restaurant on the island that is on the beach and not part of a resort.  We had a wonderful, relaxing day with our new friends.

ON ANOTHER TOPIC!!!  TSUNAMI WARNING!!!

The tsunami is supposed to hit us within four hours.  We are about a mile from the beach, up on a small hill, on the third floor of an apartment building.  We should be safe.

ON ANOTHER TOPIC!

I’ve written another story, The Rape for those of you who are interested.  This will be the last horror story.  The next few stories will be happy, fun stories.  Enjoy!

A Second Try!

A few weeks ago when I posted a link to get to one of my stories, it did not work.  I’m not sure if I figured out how to fix the problem but I am going to attempt it again.  Unfortunately, the only way of checking is by sending it out to all of you.

The following link should be to my next story called The Abortion.   If you’re interested in reading this story and the link does not work, you’ll have to go to my site and look it up.  Somebody, please let me know if this link worked or not.  You can also paste the following link:

February Updates!!!

I’m still sticking to my exercise schedule and my diet has greatly improved (most of the time).  I’m not posting as much on my blog as I had hoped (not a lot new has been happening) but I have been busy writing stories.  They are a priority and I am happy to be getting them written.  Our other websites are at a standstill since Tom is taking the first part of the bar exam tomorrow and has been studying almost every minute that he is not working.

I’ve been on a couple of  interviews lately and both of them look promising….I’ll let you know when I hear anything.

I’ve managed to get five new stories written.   I haven’t posted them yet because I decided to give them to you in chronological order so that they make more sense.  I’ll give them to you a few days apart so you won’t be overwhelmed with too much stuff to read.

If you haven’t read the post called Car Accident #1 you might want to read it first, then read Sex & Drugs.  Enjoy!

Sunset in Saipan!

My friend Louise said, “Why don’t you post some more shots of Saipan?”  So I decided to show you a couple of the beautiful sunsets that we’ve had recently.

I also wanted to let you know that I have finished two more stories, Century 21 Realtor and Taxi Dancer.  Enjoy!

Historical Sites of Saipan!

When Tom and I decided to move to Saipan, we had no idea that there would be so many remnants from WWII still visible on the island.  First a little history about the Battle of Saipan.

OOPS!!!

I’ve heard from a few people that the link I sent yesterday to my “Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!” story did not work.  I’m surprised because I tested it before sending it out.  Anyway, it’s a computer thing and I assume if any of you really wanted to read about them, you found your way to my site and looked it up.  Sorry about that!

Because of yesterdays snafu, if you want to read my story about my first husband Greg, you can find it on my site under:

Greg – My First Hubby

Hopefully I’m on a roll here and will get all of the stories done by June.  As I write the new ones I will let you know, in case any of them interest you.

Enjoy and have a good day!

Resolution Update!

So how is everyone doing on their New Year’s Resolutions?   Let me guess.  You’re doing great, you’re still trying or forget it, you gave up a long time ago.  I hope you haven’t given up.  There are still 11 months of the year and you can still achieve those goals.

As for myself, I’m doing great (well better) on eating healthier.  I have a healthy salad almost every day for lunch and I have cut back on the red meat.  I’ve also cut out most of the ice cream and sweets.
