T’was the Night Before Saipan….

Well, I’ve spent the last three months selling things, planning, selling things, organizing, selling things, recuperating, selling things, packing, selling things….. I hope I never have to sell another thing.  One way to avoid this is to acquire less.  Good plan!

Well, this is the night before our big move.  When I moved to New York City, London, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, I took a few days or a week, made a plan and took off. This was different.  This move has been a lot more stressful and has taken a lot more time.  We had more “stuff” to get rid of, more loose ends (business wise) to wrap up and more friends to say good-bye to.  Fortunately, all of the stressing has paid off.  We accomplished everything we needed to accomplish to a timely manner.  Actually, it was down to the wire, but it all got done and we are ready to start on our new adventure.

I’m going to try my best to update daily, or at least every other day.  When we get settled, I will be in touch on a more personal basis.  Feel free to leave comments or ask questions.  I will try to answer as soon as I can.  Island life is supposed to give me more time to do things like this, we’ll see ;)

Are you Kidding? NO…….Are you Crazy? MAYBE

These are just two of the questions that we have been hearing a lot lately.  We’ve been asked a lot of other questions, so I thought that I would take a few minutes to answer some of them here.

1)  Why are you moving to Saipan?  Because we want to.  Visiting islands have always been enjoyable for us so now we will get to see if we like living on one.

2)  Don’t you think you’ll  get bored after living in Las Vegas for so long?  Actually, we’re looking forward to a more laid-back lifestyle.  It will give me the time to finish my writing my stories and will give Tom and I the time to work on some of our websites.

3)  Do you have lots of money?  I wish!  No, we’re both still working and will find something on the island to do so that we can eat and pay the bills.

4)  What will you do if you don’t like it?  Move!  There are lots of places that we would like to explore while we are still young and healthy enough to do so.

5)  When you get settled, can I come and visit you?  Sure, if you’re reading this, you’re welcome to come and hang out with us.  Just make sure you contact us first, we may have moved on.
